Nyx

Thank you Dr. Roller for listening to me, genuinely listening, and helping me come up with a workable plan for my cat’s continued health. Nyx and I were treated with a respect that I didn’t expect. All of the staff at Boise Cat Clinic were helpful and encouraging. They noticed that we were both nervous, and they did all they could to make us comfortable. They found the root of the issue, and Nyx’s health is better than ever!

Thanks again,
Cally M.

Einstein

We just wanted to say how very much we appreciate and respect Dr Roller and her extraordinary staff. It is due to their excellent care and focus to always give their patients their very best that we still have our little buddy, Einstein. At 20 years of age he has numerous problems and we realize we are lucky to have him around at all. He has been a patient of the Boise Cat Clinic for about a year under treatment for his chronic conditions. He recently had a serious issue come up and we were facing a very painful decision.

Dr. Roller would not give up on him and saved him through a detailed thoughtful process, consultation, and treatment. Thanks to her focus on using a least invasive and straightforward approach we have our buddy back. Our only regret is that we didn’t find her years ago! Incidentally we were referred to her by other Veterinarians who have mentioned her shared research and her dedication.

There is a HUGE advantage to bringing your precious companion to this clinic dedicated 100% to cats. They always treat us with thoughtfulness, compassion and respect. Thanks to them Einstein, “the amazing talking cat”, continues to delight us and our grandchildren, who have known him all their lives.

Testimonials

Tommy

The Boise Cat Clinic is by far the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. I was referred to them by a trusted friend when my cat Tommy wasn’t acting right. Come to find out he had fatty liver disease, and needed a good deal of care. Dr. Roller and her team were amazing. They gave Tommy top notch care and took the time to teach us how to care for him at home. Dr. Roller called me several times throughout those first few weeks to make sure we were doing alright and answered any new questions we might have had. They treated my husband and me with compassion and a level of kindness rarely seen anymore. Today Tommy is back to 100%, and since then they have cared for my other cats as well, every time continuing to impress me.

The Boise Cat Clinic is a calming, clean and well thought out place. Each woman who works there is kind, skilled and compassionate, and has earned my loyalty. They take the time not only to allow your cat to warm up to them, but also to explain what they are doing. The Boise Cat Clinic has my highest recommendation, I am so grateful I found these ladies.

Testimonials

Tashaba

For most of her 11 years, my long-haired golden domestic, Tashaba, has suffered from one eye ailment after another. It all began about ten years ago when she was having a particularly bad attack of seasonal allergies. She was absolutely miserable with red, swollen eyelids and constant oozing down the sides of her nose. I took her to a cat vet for allergy relief; she emerged with a diagnosis of feline ocular herpes. I understand a not uncommon chronic eye disease in domestic felines. Then, several years ago, I noticed one of her golden eyes had suddenly developed a dark brown tint. This turned out to be a sequestrum. Surgery was required by an animal ophthalmologist surgeon. Seasonal allergies and daily medication routine continued.

In early spring of 2012 she had her usual bout with allergies. She was obviously in a great deal of pain. An ulcer was diagnosed and treatment begun. Transportation to and from the clinic had become extremely difficult. Because of deteriorating eyesight, I had stopped driving several months earlier. A senior citizen on limited income, I was taking cabs back and forth to get Tashaba to her appointments. My home is on the opposite side of town from the clinic and Tashaba’s ulcer required constant monitoring.

In May, just as I was about at wit’s end, I attended a Morris Hill Neighborhood Association street festival. I was wandering about, exploring and talking to friends when I came across a friendly bubbly young woman manning a booth. She introduced herself as Dru and invited me to look over her display of Boise Cat Clinic literature. That was when I became aware a cat’s only clinic had recently been established on the Boise Bench. It was one of those incredible moments when you suddenly realize your prayers have been answered.

Almost giddy with excitement, I poured out the sad tale/tail of my beloved Tashaba and my logistical problems getting to and from. Dru said, stick around Dr. Roller is on the way. When Dr. Roller arrived, she patiently listened while I went through the entire Tashaba saga. Although many people were coming and going and a loud rock band played right behind us Dr. Roller gave me her full attention and patiently answered a barrage of questions.

Although she was in current treatment for her ulcer, I phoned Tashaba’s vet (who knew of my transportation problems) and told her I wanted to transfer Tashaba’s care. She encouraged me to do so, lavished praise upon Dr. Roller’s abilities, and made arrangements to fax her records ASAP. Dru set me up with an immediate appointment.

Because of the complex nature of her therapy, over the past few months Tashaba and I have made weekly visits to the Boise Cat Clinic. I’ve had many conversations and opportunities to interact with Dr. Roller and her staff. Dr Roller is intelligently competent, caring, compassionate and dedicated to the health and well being of her patients and their families. She never appears rushed when discussing questions and treatment plans. She clearly explains the complexities of Tashaba’s condition, medication, and treatment options in terms I easily understand.

I’m favorably impressed with the professionalism of all the women of the Boise Cat Clinic. Clearly, Dr Roller and her staff are all dedicated cat lovers and devoted to the best possible care for their furry feline patients.

If you happen to see a white-haired old lady pushing a large wire cart with a cat carrier inside walking through Morris Hill Cemetery. That would be me and Tashaba coming or going from the Boise Cat Clinic. No more expensive cab fares. Instead, a delightful 13 minute walk under the trees and we’re there.

Testimonials

Pipi

Our beautiful cat PiPi developed hepatic lipidosis [fatty liver] after a stressful move from Japan to the United States, just before her 4th birthday. After she had a feeding tube surgically inserted, she still had a long and bumpy road of home care ahead, which was a daily challenge, sometimes with very little hope.Dr. Roller’s care and advice got us through that dark time, and her keen attention to even the smallest details helped me understand the various signs of illness and healing in my cat, who made a full recovery and recently celebrated her 6th birthday!

If not for Dr. Roller, PiPi wouldn’t be with us today, and our family is still a family thanks to her incredible dedication. Miss PiPi raises a paw to you, Dr. Roller!! I can’t recommend the Boise Cat Clinic enough, as our cats are our family, and we want to give them the best care that they truly deserve, from devoted staff who love cats as much as we do.

Star

Boise Cat Clinic is the most modern, up-to-date, well staffed clinic for your cat. Dr. Roller is exceptionally knowledgeable of all cat problems and treatment. A more compassionate vet cannot be found. I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Roller during her time at another clinic and she was there for me during the care and ultimate loss of not one, but three beloved cats.

During the time period when Dr. Roller was not practicing was truly a loss for me and my cats. Being near 80 years old now, and in the past 30+ years have only taken in abused, neglected, abandoned and damaged cats, having a vet you can count on has been so valued. Thank you Dr. Roller, and caring staff, for this new clinic and always being there for those of us who want the best of care and consideration for our cats and for us as cat owners.

Testimonials

Josie

Our kitty Josie developed a significant allergic reaction which resulted in very large unsightly lesions on her face and body. The cause of the reaction was unknown and when we took her to Boise Cat Clinic, Dr. Roller took immediate action recognizing the severity of the situation.

Dr. Roller considered ALL possible causes and detailed each treatment option in a way we could understand. When Josie was in the capable hands of Dr. Roller, we felt such relief and had the utmost confidence in Dr Roller’s abilities. Dr. Roller’s professionalism, kind manner, and feline experience keeps us coming back. She is and will always be Josie’s primary care physician. Today, the lesions are gone with zero evidence they were ever there and we haven’t seen any flareups since.

Thank you Dr. Roller!
